Features:
- High Frequency Stability
- Low Phase Noise
The Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillator (OCXO) is a crystal oscillator that uses a constant temperature tank to keep the temperature of the quartz crystal resonator in the crystal oscillator constant, and the oscillator output frequency change caused by the ambient temperature change is reduced to a minimum. OCXO is composed of a constant temperature tank control circuit and an oscillator circuit, usually using a thermistor "bridge" composed of differential series amplifier to achieve temperature control.
1.Strong temperature compensation performance: OCXO achieves temperature compensation to the oscillator by using temperature sensing elements and stabilizing circuits. It is able to maintain a relatively stable frequency output at different temperatures.
2. High frequency stability: OCXO usually has very accurate frequency stability, its frequency deviation is small and relatively stable. This makes OCXO suitable for applications with high frequency requirements.
2.Fast startup time: The startup time of OCXO is short, usually only a few milliseconds, which can quickly stabilize the output frequency.
3. Low power consumption: OCXOs typically consume less power and are suitable for applications with more stringent power requirements, which can save battery energy.
OCXO is widely used in mobile communication, satellite communication, wireless data transmission and other fields to provide a stable reference frequency. 2. Positioning and navigation systems: In applications such as GPS and Beidou navigation System, OCXO is used to provide accurate clock signals, enabling the system to accurately calculate position and measure time. 3. Instrumentation: In precision measuring equipment and instruments, OCXO is used to provide accurate clock signals to ensure the accuracy and reproducibility of measurement results. 4. Electronic equipment: OCXO is widely used in the clock circuit of electronic equipment to provide a stable clock frequency to enable the normal operation of the device. In short, OCXO has the characteristics of strong temperature compensation performance, high frequency stability, fast startup time and low power consumption, which is suitable for applications with high frequency requirements and sensitive to temperature environment changes.
Qualwave supplies low phase noise OCXO.
