    Single Pole Five Throw (SP5T) switch

    The Single Pole Five Throw (SP5T) switch is a passive device that sends high-frequency signals through a set of transmission paths and conducts various tests using the same equipment at the same time. It contains five connection states, each corresponding to a different output port, usually controlled by a knob or button, which can be rotated or pressed to switch between different connection states. Similar to the SP4T switch, the single pole five throw switch also has a multi-channel switching function, which can switch an input signal to five different output ports. The characteristics and applications of the single pole five throw switch are similar to those of the SP4T switch, but it has more connection states and provides more connection options.

    It is commonly used in scenarios that require more connection options and can meet more complex signal routing requirements. For example, in audio devices, a single pole five throw switch can be used to switch between different audio input sources or output devices. It should be noted that the difference between a single pole five throw switch and an SP4T switch lies in the number of connection states. Therefore, when selecting a switch, it is necessary to ensure that the selected switch has the required number of connection states to meet specific application requirements.

    Our SP5T switches have a frequency range of 0.1GHz to 40GHz, a voltage standing wave ratio of less than 2.5, a rated power between 0.2 watts and 1 watt, two types of Absorptive and Reflective, and a maximum speed threshold between 100 and 120 nanoseconds. Many of ourSP5T switches comply with RoHS and REACH specifications, while also having advantages such as long lifespan, fast switching speed, and large power capacity.
